"Assemblies of Art" Artistic Charitable Society was created from the initiative of Sergey Sapozhnikov and Irina Prokofieva at the support of the known Russian musicians: composers Georgiy Sviridov, Tichon Khrennikov, performers Natalia Gutman, Oleg Kagan, Eliso Virsaladze, Vladamir Minin.

"Assemblies of Arts" is registered October 15, 1992.

The Society's name reflects an aspiration to connect in its programs and projects music with other arts and also to recollect "Assemblies" as joyful and celebratory meeting - balls in Russian nobility's houses, entered by Peter the Great, the Russian Emperor in 1718.

The members of "Assemblies of Arts" Society are independent, they are connected with the creative and friendly attitudes.

The Society's symbol is a unison mark, which signifies the utmost unity.

The directions of their activity are festivals, contests, concerts in Russia and abroad, editions.

All projects of "Assemblies of Arts" Artistic Charitable Society are realized at the expense of the target budget and sponsor's means.
